Fullscreen modes, Spaces, projectors, and capture tools can change window behavior. Rehearse with the same hardware and display arrangement you will use live.

Turn the talk into sections
Create script headings for the opening, each slide transition, the demo, likely questions, and the closing. Add speed markers only where a deliberate pace change helps.

Choose the camera-side display
Select the screen nearest the active camera. On an external-display setup, verify which display TeleNotch and the presentation app occupy.

Set the reading layout
Tune width, height, font size, line spacing, eye-line position, fades, and opacity until each glance is short and comfortable.

Choose a control method
Use fixed-speed playback, on-device Voice Follow where supported, or global shortcuts based on whether you are at a desk or moving on stage.

Run a full technical rehearsal
Enter the exact Keynote or PowerPoint presentation mode, connect the projector or external display, test screen sharing, and complete one uninterrupted run.
TeleNotch does not control your slides.
TeleNotch controls its own script and playback; it is not a Keynote or PowerPoint plugin and does not advance slides. Fullscreen presentation modes and macOS Spaces may rearrange windows, so verify the final display layout and keep the slide remote separate from the teleprompter controls.

Does TeleNotch work with Keynote and PowerPoint?
It runs beside either presentation app rather than integrating with their document formats. Test the exact fullscreen or presenter-display mode you plan to use.
Can I put TeleNotch on an external display?
TeleNotch includes display selection and adjustable placement. Use a rehearsal to confirm which screen contains the camera, slides, presenter view, and prompter.
Will the planned iPhone remote advance my slides?
No. The companion is designed to send TeleNotch commands only, not to advance Keynote or PowerPoint slides.
Should I write every word of a presentation?
Script the opening, difficult explanations, important figures, transitions, and closing. For familiar material, concise prompts often sound more natural than a fully written paragraph.
