Does Stockalyze execute trades or connect to a brokerage?

No. Stockalyze does not place orders, hold funds, connect to brokerage accounts, or manage a portfolio. Its analyses, alerts, and paper trades are educational research tools.

How accurate are the patterns, levels, and scenarios?

They are AI-generated interpretations and can be incomplete, delayed, or wrong. A confidence label or probability is not a verified success rate. Check the original chart, current market data, and independent sources.

What markets can I research?

The workflow supports Yahoo Finance-compatible symbols for many stocks, ETFs, indices, cryptocurrencies, and foreign-exchange pairs. Coverage, symbol formats, delays, and availability vary.

What happens to a chart image?

A selected chart image and relevant profile context are sent through AIProxy to Anthropic for analysis. Saved analyses remain in the app and may sync through your private iCloud account when enabled. Read the Privacy Policy for provider details and retention limits.

Stockalyze: AI Chart Analysis, Patterns & Price Levels

Overview

Stockalyze ("the App") is provided by Ideas All Day Ltd. No App account or brokerage connection is required. This policy explains how chart images, ticker symbols, trading-profile choices, saved research, market-data requests, analytics, purchases, feedback, and notifications are handled.

Chart and follow-up analysis

When you request analysis, the selected chart image, detected or entered ticker, relevant market context, trading-profile choices such as experience and risk tolerance, and your follow-up message are sent over an encrypted connection through AIProxy to Anthropic. This processing is necessary to return the requested analysis or answer.

AIProxy records the originating IP address, response status, request metadata, and error response bodies for service operation and abuse prevention. Anthropic's standard API retention can keep API inputs and outputs for up to 30 days, except where a different agreement applies or longer retention is required for safety or legal reasons. Do not include confidential, personal, account, or non-public financial information in chart images or messages.

Market-data requests

Stockalyze sends detected or entered ticker symbols to Yahoo Finance endpoints to request quote and price-history data. Yahoo receives the network request and may process the symbol, IP address, device or network information, and related request logs under its own policies. Market data can be delayed, incomplete, unavailable, or inaccurate.

Saved research and iCloud

Saved analyses, chart images, watchlist items, paper trades, profile choices, app preferences, and selected alert levels are stored in the App's private container on your device. When iCloud is available and enabled for the App, eligible records may sync through your private Apple iCloud account. Ideas All Day does not operate a separate trading-history or brokerage database.

You can delete saved analyses, watchlist items, paper trades, and alerts in the App. Removing the App deletes local App data, subject to Apple's device-backup and iCloud behavior.

Price alerts and notifications

If you enable price alerts, the App stores the ticker and level you selected, periodically requests market data when iOS permits background work, and creates a local device notification when a level condition is met. You can revoke notification permission in iOS Settings and remove alerts in the App. Background timing is controlled by iOS and is not guaranteed.

Product analytics

Aptabase receives limited event names used to understand feature adoption and reliability. The production analytics client discards event properties, so chart symbols, profile choices, prompts, images, written feedback, and error details are not sent to Aptabase. Aptabase and ordinary network infrastructure may still process technical request information under their own service practices. We do not use this data for cross-app advertising or tracking.

Purchases and paywalls

Apple processes App Store purchases, billing, refunds, and subscription management. Superwall helps present paywalls and determine subscription access. It may process an app user identifier, Apple vendor identifier, purchase and subscription status, paywall interactions, and IP-derived region data for app functionality and analytics. Ideas All Day does not receive your payment-card or banking details.

Feature requests and support

If you choose to submit, vote on, or comment on a feature request, FeaturePortal stores that content with an app user identifier so the board and votes can work. If you email support, your email provider and ours process the address, message, and attachments you choose to send. Do not include chart images, brokerage details, or other sensitive information unless necessary and you are comfortable sharing it.

Camera and photo access

The App uses the camera or photo picker only when you choose to capture or select a chart. iOS controls these permissions. The selected image is processed as described above; Stockalyze does not upload the rest of your photo library.
