Signature Maker Privacy Policy

Summary
Signature Maker does not require an account, sell personal data, or use advertising trackers. Document scanning, image processing, signatures, annotations, OCR, and export happen on your device. Your document library may sync through your private Apple iCloud account. Limited content-free usage events and optional feature feedback are handled as described below.
Documents and local processing
PDFs, images, scans, signatures, recognized text, annotations, stamps, watermarks, folders, and exported files are processed on device. They are not uploaded to an Ideas All Day document-processing server. Content can leave the device when you explicitly export, copy, save, print, or share it, or when Apple syncs the saved library through iCloud.
Saved library and iCloud
The app stores documents, pages, folders, signatures, and annotations using Apple SwiftData. When iCloud is available and enabled for the app, Apple CloudKit may sync that library between devices signed into your Apple Account. Ideas All Day does not maintain a separate copy of the document library on its own server.
Camera, Photos, Files, and sharing
Camera access is used when you choose to scan paper. Photo-library and Files access are used when you choose content to import or a destination for export. The iOS share sheet sends a finished file only to the person, app, or service you select. Those destinations apply their own privacy terms.
Usage analytics
Aptabase receives limited feature events and coarse counts, such as whether scanning, annotation, OCR, organization, or export actions were opened, completed, or failed. The app intentionally excludes document images, recognized text, signatures, document and folder names, user-entered text, saved identifiers, and raw error messages from analytics properties. Analytics events are not linked to an in-app user account because the app has no account system.
Feedback and Apple services
- FeaturePortal processes requests, votes, comments, and technical information only when you open or use the feature-request interface.
- Apple provides iCloud/CloudKit, the App Store, system review prompts, camera and photo permissions, document scanning, OCR frameworks, and system sharing.
- Support email is processed by your email provider and the developer's email provider when you choose to contact support.
Retention, deletion, and choices
Delete individual documents, folders, or saved signatures in the app. You can also remove local data by deleting the app and manage any remaining Signature Maker data through Apple iCloud settings. Copies already exported or shared must be removed from their destination separately. Aptabase, FeaturePortal, Apple, Vercel, and email providers retain limited operational records under their own policies.
Website
This public page is separate from the iOS app. Vercel hosts the site and may process ordinary request, security, and performance information needed to deliver and protect it. The website does not add an advertising network.
Providers
Children, security, and changes
The app is not directed to children under 13. Do not import or share documents you are not authorized to use, and redact sensitive information before contacting support. No storage or transmission method is completely secure. This policy may change as the app, providers, or legal requirements change; the date above identifies the current version.
