Privacy Policy for ScoreBoard

Last updated: August 27, 2026

Summary

ScoreBoard does not require a name, email address, or phone-number account. Most game data stays on your device or in your private iCloud account. Information leaves your device when you choose live sharing, send feedback or support, or when limited event analytics are used to understand app reliability and feature use.

Ideas All Day Ltd does not sell personal information, show targeted advertising, or add advertising trackers to ScoreBoard.

Games saved on your devices

  • The iPhone app stores games, teams, results, settings, and related records locally using Apple platform storage. When iCloud sync is available and enabled, Apple may store that data in your private iCloud account.
  • The web app stores game data and preferences in your browser's local storage. Clearing browser data, changing browsers, or changing devices can remove or separate those records.
  • Apple processes iCloud, App Store, and device-service information under Apple's policies.

Optional live sharing

When a scorekeeper enables live sharing, ScoreBoard uses Firebase anonymous authentication and stores the shared game in the ScoreBoard Firebase project so invited viewers can receive updates. The shared record can include the game code, participant or team names entered by the scorekeeper, scores, game settings, status, timestamps, and other details needed to show the scoreboard.

Anyone who knows the six-digit code may be able to open the shared game. Treat a code like a private link: share it only with people you intend to invite, and avoid entering confidential or sensitive information in participant names.

Analytics, feedback, and support

  • Aptabase may receive limited event information such as app launches, feature use, screen or action categories, app version, operating system, device class, and success or error status. Team names, game names, score-sharing codes, email addresses, precise location, and support messages are not intentionally included in analytics events.
  • FeaturePortal processes feature requests, votes, comments, and associated technical information only when you choose to use its feedback interface.
  • If you email support, your email provider and ours process the address, message, and attachments you choose to send.
  • Vercel hosts this public website and the web app and may process ordinary request information needed to deliver, secure, and diagnose those services.

Retention and deletion

You can remove locally stored games in the app or browser and can manage iCloud data through Apple's settings and services. Deleting a local or browser copy does not necessarily delete a game that was previously published for live sharing. Contact us with the game code if you need help requesting removal of a live shared record. We may need to verify that the request is legitimate.

Service providers may retain limited operational, security, analytics, feedback, backup, or support records under their own policies and legal requirements.
