Who operates NudgeMe

NudgeMe is operated by Ideas All Day Ltd. This policy explains how the NudgeMe app handles information when you create an account, connect with friends, exchange nudges, use notifications, or contact support.

Information we process

• Account identifiers and sign-in information handled by Firebase Authentication.
• Your username, display name, optional profile photo, and profile settings.
• Friend connections, friend requests, and the people you choose to accept or remove.
• Nudge records such as sender, recipient, preset type, delivery state, and timestamps.
• A device notification token used to route push notifications to your signed-in device.
• Technical information needed to secure, diagnose, and operate the service.
• Messages and attachments you voluntarily send when you contact support.

NudgeMe does not sell personal information and does not use your nudge history for targeted advertising.

How we use information

• Create and secure your account.
• Find and connect authenticated users after a friend request is accepted.
• Deliver nudges and related push notifications.
• Show recent nudge history to the sender and recipient.
• Prevent abuse, investigate failures, and maintain service reliability.
• Respond to support and privacy requests.

When information is shared

Your accepted friends can see the profile details and nudges needed for the friend experience. We use Google Firebase services for authentication, database storage, file storage, server functions, and push messaging. Apple processes notification delivery and platform transactions. These providers process data for us under their own security and privacy terms. We may also disclose information when required by law, to protect users and the service, or as part of a business transfer subject to appropriate safeguards.

Storage, security, and retention

NudgeMe stores service data in Firebase and uses platform security controls, authenticated requests, and access rules intended to limit data to the appropriate account and accepted friends. No online service is perfectly secure. We keep data while your account is active and as reasonably necessary to operate, secure, and comply with legal obligations. Short-lived operational records may expire automatically.

Account deletion and your choices

You can remove friends, manage notification permission in iOS Settings, update profile information, and delete your account from NudgeMe Settings. The deletion flow is designed to remove your authentication account and associated profile, relationships, requests, nudges, notification token, custom data, and profile image. Limited records may be retained where legally required or necessary to prevent fraud and resolve disputes.

Children

NudgeMe is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from a child under 13 without the authorization required by applicable law. Contact us if you believe a child has provided information improperly.

International processing

Service providers may process data in countries other than your own. Where required, we rely on applicable legal safeguards for international transfers.

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy as NudgeMe or applicable law changes. The date above identifies the latest revision. Material changes will be communicated through the app or another appropriate channel.
