Acceptance

By downloading or using Fish Identifier ("the App"), you agree to these terms and Apple's Standard Licensed Application End User License Agreement. The App is provided by Ideas All Day Ltd.

What the App provides

Fish Identifier offers photo-assisted fish-species suggestions, confidence information, distinguishing traits and reference details, a catch journal with optional location, contextual AI chat, collections, and achievements. Available fields and outputs may vary by photo, species, region, app version, and service availability.

AI and identification disclaimer

AI output can be incomplete, outdated, or wrong. Species suggestions, confidence values, visible traits, habitat information, chat responses, conservation details, food information, and fishing information are educational reference material—not expert identification, regulatory advice, food-safety advice, veterinary or medical advice, or a guarantee.

Similar species, hybrids, juveniles, poor lighting, partial views, image edits, and regional variation can produce mistakes. Do not use the App as the sole basis for eating or handling a fish, keeping a catch, identifying a protected or venomous species, reporting an invasive species, or making another safety-critical, legal, or conservation decision. Check current official regulations and consumption advisories and consult a qualified local expert when appropriate.

Responsible use and location

Follow current local laws, licenses, seasons, size and bag limits, protected-species rules, access restrictions, and humane handling practices. Optional location data is for your private journal. Do not publish precise locations that could expose private property, unsafe access, or vulnerable species.

Purchases

The App may provide limited free usage and optional Pro access through auto-renewing subscriptions or other in-app purchases where offered. The current price, billing period, trial or introductory terms, and included benefits shown in the Apple purchase sheet at the time of purchase control. Auto-renewing subscriptions continue until cancelled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period, subject to Apple's terms. Manage or cancel subscriptions in your Apple Account settings. Restoring purchases requires the Apple Account used for the original purchase.

Your content

You retain ownership of photos, notes, questions, locations, and feedback you submit. You grant us and our service providers the limited rights needed to process that content to provide, secure, support, and improve the requested features. Only submit content you have the right to use, and avoid personal or confidential information.

Acceptable use

You agree not to:

• Use the App to facilitate illegal fishing, harvesting, trade, trespass, or harm to protected species or ecosystems
• Present App output as an expert identification, current regulation, official advisory, or food-safety determination
• Probe, disrupt, overload, reverse engineer, or bypass limits or security controls except where applicable law expressly permits
• Submit content that is unlawful, harmful, deceptive, infringing, or that you do not have the right to use

Availability and changes

Features that depend on AI, location services, iCloud, the App Store, or third-party services may be delayed, limited, changed, or unavailable. We may update, suspend, or discontinue features and may update these terms. Continued use after an update means you accept the revised terms.

Disclaimer and limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, the App is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of accuracy, fitness, availability, or a particular result. Ideas All Day Ltd. is not liable for indirect, incidental, special, or consequential loss arising from use of or reliance on App output. Nothing in these terms excludes rights or liability that cannot legally be excluded.
