By downloading or using Fish Identifier ("the App"), you agree to these Terms of Use. The App is provided by Ideas All Day Ltd.

Description of Service

Fish Identifier uses artificial intelligence to identify fish species from photographs and provide information including habitat, diet, behavior, distinctive features, fishing regulations, conservation status, and a catch-tracking journal. The App also offers an AI expert chat for follow-up questions about identified species.

Disclaimer of Accuracy

Identifications and information provided by the App are generated by AI and are for reference purposes only. We do not guarantee the accuracy of:

• Species identification results
• Edibility assessments and food safety information
• Local fishing regulations, seasons, and size or bag limits
• Conservation and protection status
• Geographic range, habitat, and behavior descriptions
• Any health-related or environmental claims

Always verify local fishing regulations with the relevant authority (state, provincial, or national fish & wildlife agency) before keeping a catch. Always verify edibility and any potential health risks (parasites, mercury, ciguatera, allergens) with a qualified source before consuming any fish identified by the App.

Conservation & Responsible Fishing

We encourage catch-and-release where appropriate, respect for local regulations, and ethical interaction with marine and freshwater wildlife. The App is intended to support learning and recreation, not to facilitate illegal fishing, harvesting of protected species, or harm to ecosystems.

Subscriptions

The App includes a limited number of free identifications and offers optional premium credit packs and subscriptions managed through Apple's App Store. Subscription terms, pricing, renewal, and cancellation are governed by Apple's terms and your App Store account settings.

Intellectual Property

The App, its design, and underlying technology are owned by Ideas All Day Ltd. Photos you take or import remain your property. We do not claim ownership of user-submitted photos and do not retain them on our servers after processing.

Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

• Use the App to identify species for the purpose of illegal harvesting or trade
• Reverse engineer, decompile, or otherwise attempt to extract the App's source code
• Submit content you do not have the right to use
• Use the App to harass, deceive, or impersonate others

Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Ideas All Day Ltd shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the App, including (without limitation) decisions made based on AI-generated species information, regulatory information, or edibility assessments.

Changes to Terms

We may update these terms from time to time. Continued use of the App after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.
