Use a sharp close photo in even light and include the whole body, antennae, wings, legs, markings, and scale when it is safe to do so.
A bite or sting may be dangerous
Do not wait for an app result. Contact local emergency services, poison control, or a qualified medical professional.
Saved results are missing
Check that iCloud Drive is enabled and the same Apple Account is active. Sync can be delayed or unavailable.
Purchase not recognized
Use Restore Purchases while signed in to the Apple Account that made the purchase.
Important limitation
A photo result can be wrong and cannot determine whether a bite or sting needs treatment. Do not handle an unknown insect. Contact local emergency, poison-control, medical, veterinary, or pest professionals when the situation requires it.
